Education and Professional Experience

Shaoguo Wen is a Ph.D., professor and post-graduates’ supervisor in Shanghai University of engineering and technology (SUES) since 2006.

He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Chemistry Department of Zhengzhou University (ZZU) in 1985. After receiving a master’s from Chemistry Department from the same university in 1988, he stayed to work in ZZU as lecturer and then associate professor from 1988 to 1995. He studied polymer materials in Zhejiang University (ZJUI) in 1995 and obtained his doctorate Certificate four years later. During this period, he was employed as executive deputy chief engineer of Zhejiang Shaoxing Fuling group Plastics Co., Ltd. Therefore, He is Ph.D. in polymer materials of ZJUI. And Postdoctoral fellow in Materials Science and Engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University (SGTU) in 2001, and Postdoctoral in management of Fudan University in 2006.He was Senior of visiting scholar of the American EMU, Visiting professor of MBA innovation and entrepreneurship courses in many business schools such as Donghua University (DHU) and East China University of science and technology (ECUST).

Profession Wen, once served as the project evaluation expert of the Ministry of science and technology, Shanghai Finance Bureau, Economic and Information Commission and SEM, etc. He was selected as an outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship expert of the Ministry of education. He actively promoted the reform of China's higher education, promoted the establishment of the school of coating industry of SUES, and the rapid establishment of China coatings University. He compiled the first set of undergraduate teaching materials for coating engineering in China (8 copies) jointly with China National Coatings Association. He, as the person in charge of specialty construction, successfully established the first undergraduate major of "coating engineering" in 2017. And the first "Jiren coating engineering college" in China was founded by him united Jiren high tech material Co., Ltd.

He has presided over various projects, with scientific research funds of more than 10 million yuan, published more than 100 papers, authorized more than 30 patents, and industrialized technologies.
